From Thursday, September 18 to Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Revival-era Samovodska Charshia in Veliko Tarnovo will become the stage for the Night of Samovodska Charshia and Crafts Festival – one of the most beloved and colorful cultural events in Bulgaria.
Six days filled with colors, music, crafts, and emotions will bring together dozens of artisans, creators, musicians, and performers from across the country. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the spirit of Bulgarian traditions, watch the live creation of unique items, and enjoy a rich cultural program.
What to expect:

Live demonstrations: masters such as potters, cutlers, weavers, woodcarvers, leatherworkers, and others will demonstrate the intricacies of their craft before the audience’s eyes.

Craft bazaar with handmade items, located along the streets and inner courtyards of the charshia.
